Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of experiences. On the positive side, the location was truly unique and stunning, but I was disappointed by the somewhat outdated and not very clean rooms. The service was competent and friendly, making up for some of the shortcomings. The dining experience was pleasant, offering a variety of fresh options. Overall, a stay with some highs and lows.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The spacious room with three large windows facing the water was a delight, even though the fireplace was broken and there was no balcony. Unfortunately, being downgraded from the deluxe with balcony and fireplace to a junior suite with a broken fireplace and no balcony was a letdown. However, the array of activities kept me entertained throughout my stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were terrific, from the suite I booked to the double queen room. Despite being located over a noisy entrance, there were plenty of activities to keep me entertained.
The hotel had some maintenance issues in the rooms, but overall, they were nice and met our needs despite missing some furniture. The service was friendly and accommodating, although we felt redirected at times. The location was beautiful, especially being on a spit in Semiamhoo Bay. The dining options were satisfactory with fresh fruit and breakfast items. The facilities were decent.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and fun. However, there were some challenges with the dining experience, and I felt like the hotel was understaffed for larger events. Overall, a great value for the location and service provided.
The hotel rooms resembled The Overlook hotel in The Shining but were surprisingly spacious and clean, ideal for families with infants and toddlers. The service was a mix of rude behavior considering the high price paid for the stay but also included very apologetic staff who offered complimentary entrees, which was appreciated. The location, though unique with 'dog floors,' offered great opportunities for outdoor exploration and easy access to the beach and neighboring areas. The dining experience was delightful with a variety of fresh items, though there were some minor issues with silverware and ketchup. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, with some room for improvement in certain areas.
